As the main artery of Georgia’s east-west traffic, the Rikoti Tunnel is the first breakthrough tunnel of more than 1,700 meters long on the E60 highway, marking new progress in the construction of the project, following the breakthrough of the tunnel at the end of 2023, it will be successfully opened to traffic on August 12, 2024, which will greatly shorten the time and space distance between the eastern and western urban agglomerations of Georgia, improve the level of passenger and freight transportation along the route, and help local economic development.
As an excellent overseas mechanical and electrical supplier of China Construction First Bureau, Mingzhou International participated in the supply and commissioning guidance of tunnel jet fans, fire pipelines, lightning protection and grounding, and insulation materials for the project.
